Gladys and Rob had purchased a home in another community and were ready to sell their home.

Here’s their story…

What were you looking for in a real estate agent and why did you choose Travis?

We wanted someone who was experienced with selling real estate in our area. I researched Travis when we were looking to buy and he had won awards, had very good reviews from former clients and I loved his marketing style. We had a great previous business relationship with Travis looking for new homes. His loyalty to us as clients was very apparent. He never pressured us while looking and was also very patient. These qualities are important to us so choosing Travis was a very easy decision. There was no else to consider.


What were you most nervous or concerned about in the process?

The uncertainty of how long it would take to sell our home. We have moved a lot over the years however we were not certain how the markets were right now.


What suprised/stood out to you about the process?

We appreciated the confidence Travis had in selling our home – we loved our home however we may just be a little biased!


How did you feel about the way your home was marketed?

We liked his selling strategy, loved the professional photos, appreciated the advise of how to prepare our home to make it ready for positive showings. Having the conversations of what worked to help get a sale helped us separate our personal bond to the home. When Travis left it was no longer our “home”, it was something we needed to prepare for a sale.


How did Travis guide you through the selling process, including when you received an offer/s?

Travis shared with us his selling strategy, which we did not get past the first step as the offer was received in five days. Because we were comfortable doing business by Facetime and electronically it was very efficient. Travis understood that this was not our first time selling a home and took our thoughts also into consideration with an open discussion.


What was the best part of your selling experience?

The quick sale which helped us to start the next chapter of our lives.

Would you do anything differently?

No, we feel our story was one of success!

What advice do you have for someone who is thinking of selling their home?

Listen, listen, listen to your realtor’s advice. They are the professional that you hired and you asked for their expertise. Do your research on who you hire and make sure that your expectations are in alignment with their strategies.

Would you hire Travis again?

Yes and we would also feel very confident recommending him to future clients. He is one of the best realtors that we have worked with.
